Just on a whim, I figured that someone out there must have a cookbook related to The Lord of the Rings trilogy or The Hobbit and I was right. A Tolkien scholar is writing one as we speak and may have already completed it by now. There also are attempts by people to create meals from The Hobbit. And, the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, TX even did a Lord of the Rings trilogy feast in January 2011.
